Most people who visit Chios stop here for an hour on the way to or from Lesvos on the ferry. Its enough time to jump off, buy some mastica or other Chios products, have an ouzo and meze and jump back on the ship. I had probably been to Chios a dozen times before I actually spent more than an hour there.
