The fourth member of our crew is our Suzuki Grand Vitara, the best small 4-wheel drive SUV ever made. Its got a 4-cylinder engine, is easy on gas and goes anywhere. You can't get this in the USA. Only the larger 6-cylinder version because as the US Suzuki dealer told me "Americans want big cars". Sounds like a generalization to me. But as in other islands the Suzuki took us to places in Tinos that a normal car could not get to or at least would not be as pleasant getting to. Roads in Tinos are pretty good. There were actually few places where we really needed 4-wheel drive but in Greece drivers like to drive in the middle of the road and they seem to get out of the way a lot faster when the vehicle coming at them looks like a truck.
