The north end of Syros is the most remote part of the island. The highspeed NEL ferry passes and you can see the island of Tinos in the distance. There are several small bays and the ancient settlement of Kastri but the walking is arduous, especially coming back. Still if you are in shape and love to walk you should not have a problem.
