The town hall by Ernest Ziller the German architect who built many of the most famous buildings in Greece and later became a Greek citizen. The giant square, like the harbor is where the adults come for their evening volta (stroll) and where the kids play too. Its one of the liveliest squares in Greece though the impact of television has changed the way many Greeks spend their evenings.
