The Hermes Hotel, where we try to stay whenever we come to Syros. The front entrance overlooks the harbor and Kanaris Square. This is my hotel of choice though it is difficult getting rooms because it is also where all the lawyers and many of the people who come to do business in Syros stay as well, so sometimes it is full even in the winter. Unlike the tourist islands, Syros always has visitors.
