JK "We spent a lovely afternoon in September with Zahos (Zack), he was waiting for us at the port of Skopelos, drove us to our hotel to drop off our luggage and then he provided a guided tour of the island up to our intended destination of Agios Ioannis Kastri, the church on the hill in the first Mamma Mia movie. Zahos grew up on the island and we visited his village, he provided a lot of history and facts about the island. He speaks English fluently. He is an accomplished photographer with a stunning picture book that is displayed prominently on my living room table. He set the mood by playing Abba tunes on the way up to Agios Ioannis Kastri. He stopped along the way for many photo ops. He waited for us as we climbed the hill and toured the chapel. He suggested a rooftop restaurant in Skopelos Town popular with the locals and difficult to get reservations but we were able to make it there and had a panoramic view of the Town. Zahos Stamoulis of Skopelos Taxi Service & Tours does not disappoint and if I return to Skopelos I will definitely give him a call for transportation and guided tours."
