Museum of Delos

Though they say most of the best artifacts from Delos are now in the National Museum of Athens, the museum in Delos has an impressive collection and is worth taking the time to go through, if for no other reason to get you out of the sun for awhile. But if you have an interest in Ancient Greek and Roman statues, pottery, mosaics, art and practical items like money, as well as the famous Lions of Delos you will find a visit to the museum quite rewarding. Click on the first photo and use your browser arrow to come back to this page. When you go to Delos I highly recommend that you hire a licensed tour-guide to show you what you are seeing.
